Terms and Conditions of Use

1. Identification of the operator
The website bvir.ro (hereinafter the „Site") is operated by CABINETE GRUPATE DE AVOCAT BOT, VÎLCEANU, IERAN & RUS (hereinafter „BVIR"), a law firm partnership with its registered office at Aleea Emanuil Gojdu nr. 7, ap. 7, Oradea, Bihor County, Romania.

2. Acceptance of Terms
Accessing the Site and using its content imply full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Please read this document carefully before use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
BVIR may unilaterally modify these Terms and Conditions by publishing the updated version on this page. Continued use of the Site after publication of the changes constitutes acceptance.
3. Informational nature of the content
Information published on the Site is strictly informational and general. It does not constitute legal advice and cannot replace the assistance of a lawyer for a specific case.
Materials on the Site (articles, guides, FAQs, practice descriptions) are indicative. Application to an individual situation requires analysis by a lawyer of all specific circumstances.
Use of the Site does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and BVIR. This relationship arises only after completion of our conflict of interest verification, signing of a legal services agreement, and payment of the agreed fee.
4. Communication via contact form and email
Sending a message via the contact form or by email to office@bvir.ro does not make you a client of BVIR and does not oblige the firm to represent you. Information transmitted before the conclusion of a legal services agreement is not protected by attorney-client privilege.
Please do not transmit, through public channels of the Site, confidential information or sensitive documents until written confirmation of the contractual relationship with the firm.
5. Limitation of liability
BVIR assumes no responsibility for the consequences of actions or inactions undertaken by users on the basis of information published on the Site. Materials are provided „as is", without express or implied warranties.
BVIR shall not be liable for direct or indirect losses resulting from access to or use of the Site. Use of any information without consulting a lawyer is at your own risk.
6. Intellectual property rights
The content of the Site — including texts, articles, logos, trademarks, images, graphic structures, source code and any other elements — is the exclusive property of BVIR or its partners and is protected by Romanian and European legislation on copyright and trademarks.
Copying, reproduction, distribution, publication, modification or use for any commercial purpose of the content of the Site without prior written consent of BVIR is prohibited. Limited citation, with indication of source and hyperlink, is permitted under the right of citation provided by Law no. 8/1996.
7. Links to third-party sites
The Site may contain links to external resources (legislation, case law, public authorities). BVIR does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy policy or practices of third-party sites referenced through these links.
8. Comments and user-submitted content
On BVIR's social media channels or through contact forms, we reserve the right to remove messages that are: offensive, illegal, contain confidential information about third parties, promote unrelated products/services, or infringe the rights of others. These decisions are at the sole discretion of BVIR.
9. Professional tools and technologies used
BVIR uses modern professional tools for legal analysis and case management, including specialised B2B platforms for lawyers (such as Stagiaris.ro). We do not use automated chatbots or automated decision-making systems in our relationship with clients. All consultations, legal analyses and professional decisions are carried out by lawyers with the right to practise.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Romanian law. Any disputes related to the use of the Site or interpretation of these Terms shall be settled amicably; in case of disagreement, jurisdiction belongs to the courts of law at the registered office of BVIR (Oradea, Bihor County, Romania).
